Sunday for the Soul #2

Hello my blooming buds!

The Sanctuary has been under renovation, mostly the organ screens, so we met where the contemporary worship service meets, the Parish Hall.

The layout was very reminiscent of Fellowship Church in Miami, a contemporary worship styled church that I was extremely fond of during the months I stayed in Miami.

Today's sermon was titled "Interpreting the Time". It was all kinds of aspects of time like how religion in modernizing and the way you spend your time for God. Now days it's becoming more and more common to see people converting religion. Like for us, we saw a man from the Islamic culture convert to Christianity. It may be a welcome thing here, but the times are still different in the Middle East. It's frowned upon and a lot of times to the extreme. Even throughout all the political problems the U.S. is facing, we should still count our blessings to be free to choose our religion and not be afraid to be attacked (Depending where you live, of course).

Another aspect of time was the limited time that some of us have. Do we do the bad things that we are sometimes tempted to do with the little time we have left or live it to the fullest in the name of God? You should choose to live it in God's name! At the end of the line, right before you ascend to eternal life, you realize that you should have been living like that all the time instead of just that short period. It's hard to live how God wants us to, but the harder we try, the better we feel in the end.

What's one way you can use your time better for God?

Buh-bye xo
